Presenter:     Anne Rappaport, M.A. C.A.G.S;    LCPC and CRC

There are numerous Psychological First Aid (PFA) models, orientations or approaches in literature and across the spectrum of practice.  Most models have common general or generic structures. There are some universal techniques that will be explored this evening.  We will explore the strengths of PFA as well as the limitations. Links to external resources will be provided.

Anne Rappaport is in private practice which includes EAP on- site critical incident response, is a volunteer for emergency response for both St. Clair and Madison County Health Boards, and is currently President of the Lewis and Clark Chapter of the ICA. She is also a certified rehabilitation counselor, providing counseling, case management and forensic work.

One CEU is available for this presentation and for each meeting presentation with a Chapter membership at the cost of $20.00 annually due each October.  One CEU can be available for non-members at the cost of $10 per presentation.
