  Chartreuse Center provides individual counseling, groups and workshops for issues surrounding infertility, loss and grief. Specific areas of specialization include: anxiety; depression associated with new health diagnosis, tests, treatment, and unsuccessful medical treatments; sudden loss as in the case of unexpected death, suicide or miscarriage; bereavement due to long term illness; psychosocial issues surrounding changes in family, social support, work, caregiver roles, etc.; waiting for adoption or foster placement and other issues surrounding being a waiting parent or new parent; choosing to live child free; and other loss situations. Therapy issues are addressed through grief and Adlerian, Individual Psychology theory and art therapy interventions.
