Using tools to find quality colleges at the best price is a presentation I have given many times. I also have spoken on the value of education.
As a college counselor, I have extensive knowledge of many two and four-year colleges having assisted over 600 secondary students in discerning the next step in their educational careers. This knowledge comes from visiting colleges on a regular basis, researching schools to help students make a good decision, and actively cultivating relationships with college admissions counselors. My well-researched approach is geared toward finding a quality school at a price the family and student can afford.
I studied in Spain for a year back in college, 1995-1996, and taught Spanish for four years. Whereas when I left Spain, my level of ability was a good deal closer to full fluency, it has regressed a bit. Still, my theoretical knowledge of the language is high, and I can present in Spanish with adequate time to prepare, and I could get back to high fluency in an immersive or bilingual environment in which I am using the language a decent amount.
