IDFPR Rules on In Person CEs and Live Webinars

ICA has confirmed with IDFPR administrative staff that webinars will only count towards the allowable 15 CEs that can be earned through online training and correspondence courses.

SUBPART C: GENERAL
Approved Continuing Education (CE)
A maximum of 15 CE credits per renewal period may be earned for successful completion of a correspondence course (e.g., by mail, computer, etc.) that is offered by an approved sponsor who meets the requirements set forth in subsection (c). Each correspondence course shall include an examination.

If it is a LIVE Webinar or a LIVE Virtual Conference it is still the same under IDFPR Rules for CEs. If you are not physically in person it is included in the 15 CEs of correspondence courses.

IDFPR has no current variance that applies to CEs and the LPC / LCPC licenses. This is, of course, subject to the possibility of a change, but it is the current rule. If any variances are granted, ICA will keep our members informed.
